Find the size that feels at home
For a practical starting point, take a ring that sits comfortably on the finger you intend to wear it on. Measure the widest distance inside the band in millimetres. Do not include the band itself.
If measuring your finger instead, use a flexible strip that sits snugly without pressing into the skin. Check more than once at a normal room temperature and allow for the knuckle. Choose the larger whole size when your result is between two entries. A professional ring fitting offers the most reliable check.
